Designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958, the PH 5 Mini Pendant Light emits a warm, gentle glow from within its own frame, illuminating any space with its purposeful downward-directed light. It was created to accommodate various bulb sizes and shapes, making it a practical and versatile choice for modern interiors. This iconic design stands as a symbol of sophisticated lighting and inspires a sense of elegance in any room.
In 2017, the PH 5 Mini was introduced, faithfully reflecting Henningsen’s original design with a smaller top shade. His innovative three-shade system evenly distributed light while minimizing glare and shadows. The 2020 launch of the PH 5 Mini Monochrome series gave the design a contemporary update with matte-painted metal shades in bold colors like black, white, and ultra blue for modern decorators.

Light Concept
The fixture provides 100% glare-free light. Its design is based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system that directs most of the light downward. The fixture emits both downward and lateral light, thus illuminating itself.
