GENERAL INFORMATION: Chrome is a metal plating overlaid on metal that gives a decorative, lustrous finish. It is corrosion-resistant and light, making it ideal for use on furniture. Fritz Hansen uses three different chrome surface finishes: mirror, satin and PK – the latter of which is used on PK33™, PK31™, PK25™ and PK20™ designs.
CARE & MAINTENANCE: Chrome surfaces are resistant to dirt and liquids, but water can cause the surface to corrode. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL: To clean, wipe with a dry or damp cloth wrung in soapy water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, clean with rubbing alcohol.
RUST REMOVAL: We recommend Autosol metal polishing agent, typically available from auto spare parts dealers.
CAUTION: Do not use solvents on chrome plating.
