Paris Sofa Baby Velvet Mohair

The Paris Sofa is an elegant, curved sofa originally designed by Elias Svedberg and relaunched by Dusty Deco in 2023 with the approval of Svedberg’s descendants. Crafted with a solid beech frame, the sofa features a carefully constructed seating system with springs and multiple layers of foam, ensuring exceptional comfort and support. In this version, it is upholstered in a luxurious and durable mohair fabric with a deep pile, adding richness and tactile depth.

First presented in 1937 at the World Exhibition in Paris as part of the Swedish pavilion, the sofa was created by Svedberg in collaboration with designer and textile artist Astrid Sampe. It was later exhibited in Warsaw in 1938 and Malmö in 1939. Today, the Paris Sofa stands as a timeless example of Swedish Modern design, a style celebrated worldwide for its refined balance of form, function, and elegance.
