Kristina Dam

Kristina Dam Studio was founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by graphic designer and architect Kristina Dam, a graduate of the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design. The idea behind the studio was simple but distinct: design industrial forms with an artist's eye, letting art and interior design merge in one collection. The first product was a series of limited-edition illustrations, quickly picked up by Scandinavian design stores and magazines before the collection grew into furniture, sculpture, and home accessories.

Dam calls her design language "sculptural minimalism," architectural forms in oak, steel, brass, and stoneware, built almost entirely in monochrome. That restraint is deliberate. Working within a tight, neutral palette forces every material and every line to earn its place, resulting in pieces with a clear graphic presence and enough quiet confidence to outlast trend cycles.
