Form & Refine

Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen, and Lasse Lund Lauridsen, three friends whose travels through Bolivia introduced them to alpaca wool and the craft communities behind it. Back home in Denmark, a chance meeting with the family behind the Damsbo forest gave them a source of local oak, and Form & Refine took shape from those two encounters: materials sourced at their origin, crafted close to home by skilled hands.

That philosophy still runs through the collection. Each piece favors natural materials, oak, alpaca wool, Portuguese stoneware, worked with restraint so texture and grain do the talking. The forms stay clear and modest, built to age well rather than chase a moment, honoring Nordic design tradition while carving their own path forward.
