Rinse afterwards with water and let it dry for 24 hours. The wood used for our outdoor furniture, Teak and Western Red Cedar, is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils. Drying racks: When using drying racks, do not dry wet laundry directly on the wood, as this might discolour the fabric. Products in Douglas Pine may have small amounts of resin extraction when unpacked. It can quickly be removed with a little denatured alcohol. Also, minor cracks can appear over time due to changes in the living natural wood.
