Fritz Hansen Laminate Cleaner and mild detergents are also suitable. Use a damp melamine sponge weekly to clean the surface, buff scratches and restore the matte finish.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor deeper cleaning, use a white melamine sponge and an acid-free kitchen surface cleaner. Work into the laminate in a circular motion, cleaning the entire surface area. Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp microfibre cloth. For stubborn stains or ingrained dirt, use a dry melamine sponge first.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFENIX NTM®: Scratches can be removed by placing a slightly damp piece of paper towel on the affected area and ironing in circular motions for 8-10 seconds. Avoid using cleaning products with a high acid or alkaline content as these may stain laminate. When using solvent-based cleaner, use a clean cloth to avoid leaving marks on surface of the laminate. Do not use furniture polish or wax-based cleaners, which trap dirt. Marks and spots will appear when exposed to high heat or certain liquids, including red wine.
